How long does the Santa Experience last?
The Santa Experience typically lasts 45–60 minutes. We’ve carefully designed the journey so families can enjoy each part of Winter Hollow at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to take part in activities, create keepsakes and soak up the festive atmosphere before being guided through the portal for their special visit with Santa.
You’ll receive a code in your confirmation email which lets you through the barrier and down the main drive to Vogrie House. From there, you can park in our woodland car park, currently marked Staff Car Park. We’ve added this during the darker winter evenings so families can park closer to the house instead of walking from the park’s main car park.
Is the Festive Hollow wheelchar accessible?
Yes, the Winter Hollow is fully wheelchair accessible. Entry is via the back of Vogrie House, where we have step-free access and a lift available for guests who need it.
Our team will be on hand to assist if required, and we’ll always do our best to make sure every family feels comfortable and included throughout their experience.

Will there be a real reindeer?
Not quite, only the kind you can spot with the most curious of imaginations, but the park come alive with wildlife after dusk so you may be lucky to spot some eyes watching you through the trees.
Is the experience exclusive to us?
Your time in the Festive Hollow will be shared with other families, but your visit to meet Santa in his Grotto is exclusively yours.
Do you take professional photos?
We don’t provide professional photography, but you’re more than welcome to take your own photos throughout the experience. Don’t forget to tag us @thebubblingtoad if you share them!
Yes. The Bubbling Toad Christmas Experience is designed as a full family experience, with grown-ups joining in the activities and magic alongside the children. Adults take part throughout the experience and will leave with their own keepsakes too, but adult tickets are offered at a lower price than child tickets.
What counts as a 'child'?
Child tickets are for ages 18mth–11 years. From age 12 onwards, an adult ticket is suitable.
Anyone entering Winter Hollow and Santa’s Grotto must have a valid ticket, whether they are a child or an adult.
The only exception is children under 18 months attending alongside a paying child ticket holder.
What if I only want to attend with my child who is under 18 months?
Children under 18 months only attend free when accompanying a paying child ticket holder.
If your booking consists of adults and a child under 18 months only, the under-18-month-old will require their own child ticket. This is because they will receive their own personalised experience with Santa and occupy their own dedicated place within the session.
How do I tell the team about my accompanying under 18-month-old?
When completing your booking, you’ll be asked to provide information about each child with a booked ticket.
As under-18-month-olds attending free alongside a paying child do not have their own ticket, a separate information box will not appear for them.
Instead, please include their details alongside one of the other children’s information boxes so our team knows they’ll be joining you on the day.
Will there be food or drink available?
No food is included in the experience, but the Tree Top Café (a separate business downstairs) will be open for snacks and hot chocolates. And of course, every child receives a sweet treat from Santa.
Are there toilets available?
Yes, toilets are located on the ground floor of Vogrie House.
What’s the difference between Santa, Twilight Santa and Quiet Santa?
Our Santa Experience is our full magical family Christmas experience.
Twilight Santa offers the same magical experience on selected dates, but at a special lower ticket price.
Quiet Santa offers the same experience in a gentler, more relaxed setting, with reduced numbers and a calmer atmosphere for families who may benefit from a quieter visit.
All three include the same Christmas magic, activities and keepsakes – it’s simply about choosing the session that best suits your family.
